Knitting Club

Knitting class has been canceled on February 23.

The Chinese New Year lunch was a great success!!

A special THANK YOU to Billy & Connie Sung for making our Chinese New Year Luncheon happen!  Their generosity in providing not only great Chinese food, but also their time and hard work was greatly appreciated!! Our CNY Lunch would not have happened if it weren't for them!

Community Service Opportunity

The annual Crop Hunger Walk is scheduled for Sunday, March 22.  The walk will begin at St. Paul's Church (120 North Hall Street, Visalia).  Pledges collected benefit Church World Services, an organization working to fight hunger world wide (

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day!

Send "a luck of the Irish" candy gram to your favorite Leprechaun (complete with a gold coin)!

Candy grams are for sale in the school office for $1.00!  They will be distributed to the lucky recipients on Tuesday, March 17.

SPS Walk-A-Thon

The Walk-A-Thon will take place on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 27 from 2:00-3:00 p.m.  We encourage families to attend and enjoy this exciting event with the students!  Volunteer sign-up forms will be posted at each classroom.  If you have any questions or are interested in volunteering at the event, please contact: or

It is going to be a very fun event and all proceeds go directly to the school!  Each student who earns a minimum of $30 will receive an event t-shirt.  For every $25 raised the student will earn a ticket for the prize drawings.

Waitlist for 2015-16

We are currently reviewing our waitlist for the 2015-2016 school year.  Please contact the office to confirm you child is on the list for next year.  The waitlist is long but we do give priority to siblings, so please contact us today!

Local Author is Coming to St. Paul's School!

St. Paul's School Reading Week February 23-27

Dear Parents,

Our Reading Week will be Feb. 23-27.  Our theme this year is "Holy Cow! Read Now!"  During this week, we have planned some fun activities to encourage our children to read and enhance the joy of reading.

To help you plan for this week, we are listing some of our activities below.  Thank you for your support with this school activity.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. DeJonge at or Mrs. Logan at

Book Exchange (Feb. 24):  Students may donate "gently used" books that are still in good condition to our Book Exchange Market.  A box will be in each classroom for donated books and books should be brought to school before Feb. 20.  Students will be able to choose free books at the Book Market on Feb. 24.

Dress-up Day (Feb. 26):  Students may dress up as their favorite character from a book.  They may have their picture taken with the Holy Cow mascot for 25 cents.

California Holocaust Education and Resource Center

On Saturday, February 28th, at 7:00pm, Susan Stein will be performing, "Etty" at the St. Paul's School Chapel.  This is a story of Etty Hillesum, a Dutch Jewish woman during the Nazi occupation of Holland.  The cost is $15 or $10 for seniors and students.  Stop by the office to purchase your ticket!

Remember the Escrip Online Mall!  The Escrip Online Mall allows you to earn scrip credit while shopping online at many popular merchantssuch as:  Amazon, Apple, Macys, Williams-Sonoma, Target, Wal-Mart, Chico's, Sephora, and many more.

Box Tops

We are continuing to collect Box Tops just as we did before!  Box Tops will be collected from each classroom on February 20, 2015!  We will be rewarding the class who collects the most Box Tops with a donut party!  Please encourage family members and friends to collect as many BOX TOPS as they can!  Each Box Top makes a difference, so we greatly appreciate your support!!

Items will be collected monthly in designated bins in front of the school, as well as in the Giving Corner shed located in the southeast corner of the parking lot.

St. Paul's School Shirts/Hoodies Ordering Information

We will begin ordering St. Paul's School shirts and hoodies on a quarterly basis.  Students must have a red St. Paul's School shirt for all field trips as well as any chapel presentations.  Should your child need a t-shirt  or hoodie, please order yours today!  Click on the link below for your order form or you may pick one up in the office.
