For registration information, please contact Cathy Guadagni at home (688-1794) or at St. Paul's School (739-1619).
Tuition is $70.00 per week. A space holder fee (included in the $70.00) of $20.00 must be paid in advance for each week of attendance in order to be placed on the weekly class roster.
Tuition may be paid in full by June 1, or paid on a weekly basis. The weekly pay schedule is as follows:
June 8 - 12 full payment by June 1
June 15 - 19 full payment by June 8
June 22 - 26 full payment by June 15
July 6 - 10 full payment by June 22
July 13 - 17 full payment by July 6
If payments are not received by the dates indicated, your student may no longer be included on the class roster.
Refunds: One half of the tuition may be refunded, excluding the $20.00 space holder ($25.00).
Snack Bar Available: All students will have a recess/break at 9:30 - 9:50. A snack bar will be open with items for sale ranging in price from 25 cents to $1.00. Students are welcome to bring food from home!
Before and after school care is available beginning at 7:00 a.m. until classes start and from 12:15 until 6:00 p.m. for children who are 4 years, 9 months and older who are attending summer school. Day care for younger students may be arranged through the preschool. Day care fees are $2.75 per child per hour.
To register, please return the registration form, the emergency form and the space holder fee of $20.00 per week of attendance to St. Paul's School.
Please make payments to St. Paul's School, and thank you for not including summer payments with regular school tuition or other regular payments!

Bugs! Bugs! Bugs! Join us as we learn about all the different kinds of bugs in our own backyard. Have you ever tasted bug juice?
Week 2 Dinosaurs Are Dynamite - Teacher Tiffany
Take a journey back in time as we dig up fascinating facts about dinosaurs. There will be lots of dinosaur adventures through stories and creative play.
Week 3 God Bless America - Teacher Tiffany
America is beautiful. There is so much to learn about our country and our flag. Please celebrate with us as we discover America and all of its beauty. We will enjoy picnics, hot dogs, apple pie and patriotism.
Week 4 Bears Are Best - Teacher Tiffany
Bring your teddy bear and your imagination along as we sing, paint and play. We will learn about the wonderful world of bears and conclude our week with a teddy bear picnic. You won't want to miss this furry, fun week!
Week 5 Under the Sea - Teacher Tiffany
Splish! Splash! Come explore ocean life with us! Fish, dolphins, sharks and octopus will be spending time with us during this wet week. Swimsuits are not necessary, but be prepared to enjoy some splashing.

Fur, feathers, scales! Galloping, flying, swimming! Barking, chirping, screeching! Welcome to the wide world of animals! We will explore the many types of animals that exist, and discover their similarities and differences. It's a jungle out there!
Week 2 Zoofari - Mrs. Shannon Olivarez
Join us as we get to know the animals in the zoo! Through literature, art activities, math and games we will learn about these amazing creatures.
Week 3 In the Days of Dinosaurs - Mrs. Shannon Olivarez
Go with us on an adventure back in time as we uncover the mysteries of these prehistoric animals. We will make play dough fossils, go on a fossil hunt, “hatch” a baby dinosaur, and make our own dinosaur books. Set your time machine back and join us!
Week 4 Way Down on the Farm - Mrs. Shannon Olivarez
Get set to spend a week on the farm! We will learn about different farm animals and their jobs through songs, literature, games and art activities.
Week 5 Our Pets - Mrs. Shannon Olivarez
This week we will celebrate our faithful companions. We will learn how to care for our pets, graph our favorite pets and have a chance to bring our own pets to school.
First Grade
Week 1 - Let's Go Camping - Mrs. Diane Shelton
Enjoy a week of camp crafts, songs, stories and an old time favorite camp treat. Please bring one washed white t-shirt and a wooden 5”x7” frame (Dollar Store/Wal-Mart)
Week 2 A Trip to the Zoo! - Mrs. Diane Shelton
Let's learn about the animals that live in the zoo! Find out what it would be like to be a zookeeper. End the week with a trip to the Fresno Zoo. (Transportation will be needed; there will be a charge for the admission ticket to the zoo.)
Week 3 “Western Week” - Mrs. Kate Bryant
Howdy cowgirls and cowboys! Come join me for a week of rootin' tootin' boot-scootin' western activities that include cowpoke crafts, tasty tumbleweed treats and a math rodeo. Grab your boots and spurs and let's head to the corrals. Yeeee-haw!
Week 4 Fairy Tales - Mrs. Rose Bjarke
Join us for a week of Jacks and Giants as we jump into the world of magic and mystery. Kissed a frog lately or found a golden egg? You'll be enchanted by this study of classic children's fairy tales.
Week 5 Paper Airplanes - Mrs. Rose Bjarke
They fly through the air with the greatest of ease! Watch your creation take flight and amaze your friends as you learn several designs that will turn a simple piece of paper into a fantastic flying machine.
Second Grade
Week 1 Oscar's Ocean - Mrs. Ellen Logan
We will have a whale of time fishing for science concepts as we take a cruise ship to explore the ocean's habitat. We will get our feet sandy as we study the ocean's food chains, mammals, fish, crustaceans and others. This ship is about to pull out as the ocean spray hits our faces. You won't want to miss this cruise!
Week 2 Roberto's Rainforest - Mrs. Ellen Logan
While simulating a canoe trip down a river to explore a tropical rain forest, we will construct a large replica of a rain forest ecosystem. As we recreate the South American rain forest, we will keep our eyes open and ears sharp for the multitudes of life surrounding us. We will learn how medicines come from the rain forest, and study the tightly knit food chain. So, goodbye civilization! We are on our way!
Week 3 Debbie's Desert - Mrs. Ellen Logan
As our jeep team drives along sandy desert trails, we will watch for scavengers, snakes, lizards, nocturnal animals, cacti, sandstorms and more. We will experience sand paintings, and desert Indians of long ago. Join us as we search the desert for insects, plants, animals and land formations.
Week 4 Become A math Wizard - Mrs. Ellen Logan
Here's your chance to become a math wizard as you discover shapes in nature, make a three-sided cat, create a rain bird and solve intriguing math puzzles. We will hunt for patterns, solve mystery pictures and play games to sharpen your math skills. The biggest discovery will be that math is fun!
Second Grade

Welcome to a week of number fun. We will decode messages, create incredible equations and solve number puzzles. If you like art, you'll love our number cards using Arabic numbers, Roman numbers and Chinese numbers. We will try counting in other languages, play games and have googles of fun. We'll find out how much a google is!

Think you're too young to knit? Think again. Boys and girls are knitting in the car, in the backyard and at the breakfast table! It's better than watching TV. You will learn the basics and complete your first project. Knitting occupies idle hands. Knitting broadens the attention span and helps develop fine motor skills. Knitting is not hard. Anyone can learn. So cast on and bind off for adventures in “Kids Knitting”. Week 5 Chess for Kids - Mrs. Becky Dotta
All over the world, people are taking up the challenge of chess. The power of the mind is awakened, developed and strengthened by playing chess. This class is open to beginners and advanced chess players. We will be learning rules, developing skills and discovering new techniques in a clear and understandable way. All aspects of the game, from the basics of how the pieces are set up and moved, to advanced tactics and strategy, will be enjoyed. All chess materials are provided.
****For each week in Kindergarten - Third Grade, students are asked to supply their own scissors, crayons, markers, pencils and white glue in a school box or other container labeled with the student's name. Thank you!!

Gourd Craft - Mrs. Toni Best
Gourds have been used for utilitarian as well as art forms over the years. They have been found in Egyptian tombs, used by tribes in Africa and pioneers in America. Students will learn about different gourd shapes and their history. They will learn how to clean a gourd, decorate and make some of the following projects: pins, bowls, gourd vessels.

Scrap Books - Miss Ola Siedzik
Scrap booking is for everyone! We will be making 8” x 10” ring albums. We will provide the basic materials needed, but please come prepared with approximately 30 pictures to complete your album. Three to four pictures of the same theme typically complete a page.

The game of baseball will be our theme for the week. We will take a look at the history of the game, along with stats, stars and the skills that are part of “America's favorite pastime”. We'll even have our own fantasy league.
