St. Paul's Annual Fund

Thank you for your interest in the Annual Fund. Each year we rely on alumni, parents, past parents, grandparents, and friends of St. Paul's School to generously contribute to the Annual Fund. Your financial support has a direct and immediate impact on all aspects of the School—the academic program, athletics, arts, financial aid, professional development, facilities, and campus life. Additionally, the Annual Fund provides the flexibility to respond quickly to new opportunities and unexpected needs.

The Annual Fund runs yearly from July 1 through June 30, and this year especially we will need everyone's support. Every contribution, of any size, helps St. Paul's fulfill its mission of educating young people for lives of leadership and service.

Your generosity is exceptionally meaningful, and we are most grateful for your steadfast support.

The St. Paul's Fund is an essential component of our fundraising program.  It bridges the financial gap between tuition and the full cost of a St. Paul’s education. The generous support and dedicated commitment of alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends allows St. Paul’s to maintain a tradition of excellence and a strong financial future, while encouraging a diverse student body.

By design, tuition is approximately 11%  less than the true annual cost of a St. Paul’s education, thus providing our families and supporters the opportunity to contribute the remaining funds in a fully tax-deductible format.  

Contributions to the St. Paul's Fund directly support the school’s operating budget for:

Small classes

Exceptional faculty

Faculty and staff professional development and competitive compensation

Inspiring academic programs

Upkeep of our beautiful campus

Depth of programming: academic, experiential, artistic, and athletic.

St. Paul’s does not receive any federal, state, or local funding to supplement the gap between tuition income and the annual operating budget.

Although we must raise tuition annually to provide for growth of faculty salaries and school programs, no independent school could charge full cost without pricing itself out of the market. We believe that a St. Paul’s education should be accessible to as many talented, deserving young students as possible. A diverse student population enriches the educational experience for all of our students and their families.

Only you can decide how much to give. Charitable giving is a personal decision. We ask that all members of the community make St. Paul’s School a philanthropic priority and contribute to the best of their ability. Remember, your contribution will directly enhance the educational experience of each one of our students. We value gifts of all sizes, and every single gift matters.

The experience of learning at St. Paul’s is an intense and rewarding one. While St. Paul’s carefully stewards its resources, the cost of this experience cannot be sustained by tuition alone. Your support for the St. Paul's Fund plays a critical role in meeting the annual operating financial needs of the school and its programs.

St. Paul’s is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit educational institution and we invite you to make a fully tax-deductible investment in our school.

Many companies offer a program whereby they will match the value of any gift that is contributed in support of a non-profit organization. Please check with your Human Resources department for proper documentation as an easy way to double your gift.
