At St. Paul's, we believe education shapes the whole person. As a missional Christian school, the Christian faith is woven into the rhythms of the school and shapes the life of our community.
Rooted in the Anglican Tradition
St. Paul’s is a missional Christian school. This means that the Christian faith is a central part of our life at school, but students do not have to be Christian to attend.
Our Christian faith shapes our school culture and is deeply woven into the rhythms of the school. Our teaching is grounded in the Bible and the historic Christian faith through the Anglican tradition.
Students explore Scripture, Christian theology, and the practices of the Church while learning how the Christian tradition has shaped history, culture, and our understanding of what it means to live well.
Faith is part of the rhythm of each week.
Students attend chapel multiple times a week and receive religious instruction in their classrooms. Middle school students also have a specific class period set aside four days a week for religious education.
Middle school religious education focuses on three subjects: Bible, Christian Theology, and Comparative Religion.
- Bible: Students explore the full story, themes, and teachings of Scripture.
- Christian Theology: Students study the Anglican catechism and the central beliefs of the historic Christian faith.
- Comparative Religion: Students gain an understanding of the major world religions and learn to engage different beliefs with knowledge and respect.
Over the course of their three middle school years, students explore the entire Bible, study the Anglican catechism, and gain an understanding of the major world religions.
These experiences invite students to ask questions and encounter the Christian faith in ways that are thoughtful and age-appropriate.

We teach the Bible and Christian theology from a traditional Anglican perspective, but we do not push students to accept these beliefs.
Our goal is that the Christian life of our school will:
- shape and strengthen our community
- help students understand the Christian faith
- deepen students’ spiritual lives
- provide thoughtful moral formation
- help students respect the diverse worldviews of others
We want students to become thoughtful, compassionate people who are prepared to live with integrity and serve others.
Through worship, learning, prayer, and life together, students are invited to grow intellectually, spiritually, and personally within a caring Christian community.
